Ashley N. Higginson is an associate in the Firm’s School Law, Governmental Affairs and Real Estate Groups. Her practice focuses on urban development, including the representation and counsel of school districts in all matters, and land use and development. In addition to her litigation practice, Ashley counsels clients on various types of employment, administrative, and regulatory matters.
Ashley serves on the Young Professional Board for Covenant House, New Jersey and the Board of Directors for AthleteBiz. Ashley professionally trained and competed as a track athlete while pursuing her law degree at Rutgers Law School. She was a member of the U.S. Team at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, and won a gold medal in the steeplechase at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto and North and Central American Games in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Ashley earned her J.D. degree from Rutgers Law School, cum laude, and her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. While studying at Rutgers Law School, she was the Business editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Journal.
