Ashley N. Higginson is an associate in the Firm’s School Law and Governmental Affairs Practice Groups. Ashley has experience in FieldTurf Multidistrict Litigation regarding hundreds of defective turf fields throughout New Jersey and the United States. She has aided in briefs before the Appellate Division tackling such issues as employment/tenure in public schools and charter school approvals and amendments.  Ashley also has developed experience in employment and education litigation issues including CEPA, NJLAD, and other discrimination claims.  In addition to her school law practice, Ashley has represented public entitles in judgment and execution matters.

Ashley received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 2015.  She graduated in 2011with a B.A. in Political Science from Princeton University.

Ashley participated in the USA Track & Field Olympic trials in the summer of 2016.  She qualified for and competed in the final of the 3,000 meter steeplechase.  Ashley trained and competed while pursuing her law degree at Rutgers Law School.  She also competed for the USA in the steeplechase at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, and won a gold medal in the steeplechase at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
