Brett Reina, Counsel in Riker Danzig’s Products Liability and Mass Tort Practice Group, concentrates his practice in complex litigation involving mass torts, including drugs, medical devices and asbestos, products liability defense, and commercial matters. His experience includes state, federal and administrative venues, as well as multi-district litigation and state court coordinated proceedings.
Brett also has diverse experience litigating all phases of employment and labor disputes, including appellate matters, in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and before the American Arbitration Association. In addition to private sector employers, his experience includes representation of public sector clients in employment and labor matters, including municipal, county and state governments and agencies, and school boards. Brett has handled a wide range of cases involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, benefits, wage and hour, and family leave claims, as well as non-compete, non-disclosure and other contract claims. Brett regularly counsels employers regarding their employment policies and practices and compliance with federal and state laws, with the goal of avoiding costly and unnecessary litigation. He was formerly associated with the Office of General Counsel and Labor and Employment Counsel for Warren County, NJ.
Brett also has considerable experience in commercial and general litigation matters, and has served as a prosecutor for several New Jersey municipalities.
