N.J. divorce lawyers predict a wave of pandemic splits.” Allen, who is certified by the Supreme Court of NJ as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, weighed in on the current statistics re divorce filings in New Jersey. “I was initially anticipating a surge in divorce cases towards the end of the year. I wasn’t anticipating it happening in the middle of the pandemic, and it did,” Allen said. “I think in some circumstances, the quarantine has created a tipping point for those people who were contemplating divorce in the first place.”
