The New Jersey Hospital Association, in cooperation with a cross-section of experienced lawyers from leading New Jersey law firms including Joseph Schwartz of Riker Danzig, has developed “Hospital Closure Guidelines: A Bankruptcy Primer” to assist hospitals in becoming more knowledgeable about various options and strategies to best position their institutions to weather their current financial difficulties and, if necessary, how to navigate the bankruptcy process. In addition, Joe Schwartz will be participating in a Webinar presented by the NJHA.
This Webinar will place particular emphasis on different strategies to enable hospitals to overcome financial difficulties and ensure future stability and survival. Panelists will represent a broad spectrum of viewpoints, including hospital management, union leadership, secured lenders, vendors and other unsecured creditors and the community.
