Partner Tony Sylvester Presents ASCAP Louis Prima Award

October 31, 2016

Partner Tony Sylvester, head of Riker Danzig's Entertainment Law Group, was recently quoted in The Daily Record and The Asbury Park Press regarding the presentation of the ASCAP Foundation's Louis Prima Award, which is presented annually to a vocalist or musician currently attending the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. “It is our great pleasure to represent Gia Prima [widow of Louis Prima],” said Tony,  “and we are honored to be able to present this award to young artists and support the performing arts in the City of New Orleans.”

On December 7, 2011, Tony was interviewed with regard to the award and its first recipient by Bert Baron of WCTC’s “Jersey Today” program.

This year's recipient was 16-year old Glenn Hall III, a talented trumpeter and jazz band leader.
