Article 81 Guardianship Proceedings: How to Avoid Them, When You Need Them and How to Deal With Them (Part 2)
Now that the holidays are over, it is time to focus on some things that may have sparked our attention at the (virtual) holiday table. In December, we started our two-part Article 81 Guardianship Proceedings series where we discussed signs to watch out for when considering a Guardianship proceeding, how to avoid a Guardianship proceeding, and, as a last resort, what a guardianship proceeding entails. This month, we will continue the conversation in the second part of our series where we will focus on the role and duties of the Guardian once one has been appointed. It is vital to understand the whole guardianship proceeding process in order to prepare yourself for what may come if you or someone you know is facing a Guardianship. If you missed Part 1 of our discussion, you can watch a recording here.
