May 31, 2018

Riker Danzig is pleased to announce that on May 16, Associate Ryan O'Neill graduated from the New Jersey State Bar Association's Leadership Academy, Class of 2018.  Ryan is one of eleven attorneys to have been accepted into the 2018 program. The entire class was honored by outgoing President Miles S. Winder III at the Opening Business Session of NJSBA's Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlantic City.  Of special note, Ryan organized the program's community service project this year, which entailed volunteering at the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, with half the class serving meals in the kitchen and the other half sorting donations in the mission facility.  The project was celebrated as a great success at the graduation program.

The NJSBA formed a Leadership Academy in an effort to help young lawyers attain the skills to become the next generation of bar and community leaders. The goal of the Academy is to raise the level of awareness and engagement regarding concerns facing the legal profession through the study of ethical, professional and public service issues; build relationships, networking and leadership opportunities among the future leaders of the bar of New Jersey; and look to secure the future of the NJSBA by developing well-informed, committed leaders upon whom the NJSBA, state, federal and local government entities, local bar associations and community groups can call upon for leadership and service.
