Environmental Attorney Matthew Karmel Speaking re Cannabis Disposal

Matthew A. Karmel, attorney in Riker Danzig’s Environmental Group, will be speaking at a NJ Composting Council webinar on March 18, 2021 titled “Cannabis Composting in NJ: Challenges and Opportunities.”  The program will address the following questions:

• What does it mean for cannabis producers handling new volumes of material?
• What are the challenges in making sure the excess is handled in a sustainable manner?
• How can we take advantage of this new opportunity responsibly?

Matt will speak specifically about the current legal aspects of cannabis disposal in New Jersey.
