John R. Vales has been selected by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of the state's "40 Under Forty." The Law Journal selects annually the top 40 young lawyers in private practice whose achievements in the workplace and public service involvement distinguish them among their peers. The attorneys selected to the list are considered by the Law Journal's editorial staff to be "the best and brightest." Jack is a partner in the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group. A commercial litigator, he has successfully litigated a broad range of insurance, reinsurance, professional liability and other complex commercial disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Vales served for four years as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps at Fort Drum, New York.
