Riker Danzig’s Real Estate Group represented client Ascensia Diabetes Care US, Inc in its lease negotiations with Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. Ascensia is moving its U.S. headquarters to 5 Wood Hollow Road in Parsippany. The lease provides for 43,545 square feet of office space over ten years in the award-winning Mack-Cali property, which is LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The building’s amenities include a three-story atrium lobby, fiber optics for high-speed connectivity and an upgraded high-efficiency HVAC system. Planned upgrades include a state-of-the-art fitness center and renovated café and conference center.
Nicholas Racioppi, head of Riker Danzig’s real estate practice, led the team that closed the deal for Ascensia. Working on the transaction with Nick was associate Linda Herlihy.
