Riker Danzig Welcomes New Family Law Attorneys
Sep 29, 2015

Riker Danzig is pleased to announce that Sandra C. Fava, formerly a partner with Fox Rothschild, has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Family Law Practice and Allen J. Scazafabo, Jr. has joined the practice as an Associate.

Sandra, who serves as chair of the Family Law Committee of the Essex County Bar Association and a panelist for the Essex and Morris County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panels, brings extensive experience in the full arena of sophisticated family law issues.

Glenn Clark, managing partner of Riker Danzig, said acquiring Sandra is a “home run” and the result of a strategic search for a particular skill set.  “Clearly we were looking for someone with an impressive law practice and outstanding legal skills.  Sandra has that in spades.  But we were also looking for the right personality and reputation to both fit in our culture and to lead this practice that has always provided an important service for our private clients.”

Sandra was appointed to the District XB Ethics Committee for West Morris and Sussex Counties by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.  She also serves as a volunteer attorney for the Partners for Women & Justice, with which Riker Danzig already has a strong involvement, and for the National Council for Jewish Women. Sandra was included in the list of Ten Leaders for Divorce in New Jersey Under Age 45 for 2012.

Also joining Riker’s family law group is Allen J. Scazafabo, Jr., who brings 12 years of family law and litigation experience.  Allen is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.  He most recently practiced with the Damiano Law Offices in Little Falls, and has extensive experience in matrimonial litigation and handling a wide variety of family law issues.
