Natalya Johnson was presented with the “Young Lawyer of the Year” Award by the Garden State Bar Association on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Natalya was honored at the GSBA’s 43rd Anniversary Scholarship & Awards Gala for her outstanding achievements in the legal profession and in the community. Many Riker Danzig attorneys, alumni and friends were there to celebrate with her on this impressive and well-deserved honor.
The Garden State Bar Association is New Jersey’s oldest and largest professional organization for African-American judges, lawyers and law students, helping African-American and other ethnic minorities in becoming an effective part of the judicial and legal systems.
Riker Danzig alumnus Dara Aquila Govan, now an Assistant United States Attorney, was installed as President of the GSBA at the event.
