Charles B. McKenna, a partner in the Firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense & Investigations Group, recently authored an article for Security Magazine’s Security Blog. The article, “Shipping Containers as a Threat to the Global Supply Chain,” describes the background of the shipping container, how they have wholly altered manufacturing in the world and how their ubiquity has made the global supply chain more vulnerable. Charlie also addresses the current “maritime traffic jam” that started on March 23, 2021 in the Suez Canal, noting, “All of this points up the fragility of a system that the entire world has come to rely upon.”
