Robert Vacchiano Authors New Jersey Law Journal Article on Inns of Court

September 8, 2026

Robert P. Vacchiano, a partner in the Firm's Insurance & Reinsurance and Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Groups, has published "Advocacy in the Age of Fewer Trials: The Renewed Case for Inns of Court" in the New Jersey Law Journal.

In the article, Rob examines how the decline in trials and the rise of remote appearances have reduced the opportunities lawyers have to develop live advocacy skills, an ability he describes as a paramount facet of the profession. He makes the case that inns of court answer this challenge directly, offering a setting where attorneys can sharpen their advocacy while building the collegiality that sustains the profession.

Rob was appointed Vice President of the Brennan-Vanderbilt American Inn of Court, New Jersey's oldest Inn of Court, in August of 2026. He has been a member since 2017 and joined the executive board in 2024, stepping into the Vice President role after previously serving as the Inn's Treasurer.
