Riker Danzig is pleased to announce that Partner Robert P. Vacchiano, CIPP/US, AIGP, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Essex County Bar Association’s newly-formed AI and Technology Committee for the 2026–2027 term. He will serve alongside Co-Chair Frank Wukovits, Associate at CSG Law.
Robert is a member of the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group and its Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Group. He advises insurers and reinsurers on the risks that AI, cyber threats, and data privacy obligations are creating across the insurance industry. He holds both the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. (CIPP/US) designations from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the leading global credentialing body in privacy and AI governance.
Robert has previously presented for the ECBA on the use of AI in legal practice. As Co-Chair, he will help shape the Committee’s work on how emerging technologies are changing the practice of law and the obligations of the lawyers who use them.
