webinar on Developments in Principle of Equitable Subrogation on Tuesday, June

produced by the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust & Estate
Law Section that discusses recent cases or issues of interest to real estate or
trust and estate practitioners and scholars.
Mike O’Donnell and Mike Crowley will join other panelists to
discuss recent rulings from the courts around the nation regarding Equitable
Subrogation, which, despite its eminent value in financing decisions, is still
a contentious issue. There are divergent views on the requirements for
its application; most significantly, the relevance of notice of a prior
interest by the party seeking its benefit and whether a party who is negligent
in the preparation of loan documents can assert the principle.
