The New Jersey Law Journal has selected Riker Danzig bankruptcy and reorganization Counsel Tara Schellhorn as a “New Leader of the Bar.” Following a rigorous evaluation process, the Law Journal selects lawyers who “have already built accomplished careers and, despite their youth, have established themselves as leaders within their firms and organizations, as well as within the larger legal community.”
In addition to her demanding bankruptcy and restructuring practice, Tara is actively involved in a number of bankruptcy and insolvency organizations. She currently serves as co-chair of the New Jersey Network of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC-NJ). She also serves as the Membership Relations Director of the Young and New Members Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI). Previously, Tara was selected as the first attorney from New Jersey to participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) Next Generation Program, an exclusive program designed for up-and-coming bankruptcy attorneys from across the country.
We congratulate Tara on this well-deserved honor.
