Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP held its seventh annual holiday card design contest for the children of many of the pro bono organizations for which it has provided free legal services. Over 50 children from participating organizations submitted artwork on the theme "Morristown Winter Wonderland." Eighth-grader Elizabeth Vanegas, of Stanhope, provided the winning entry, a peaceful, snow-covered village scene, which has been printed on the cover of Riker Danzig's holiday card for mailing to the firm's clients and friends. Elizabeth, who draws as a hobby, aspires to join the Air Force.
On November 19, Riker Danzig partners Mark Rattner and Dennis Krumholz presented Elizabeth with her prize, a gift certificate for a new bicycle and helmet from Marty's Reliable Cycle. Each of the participating children received a thank-you gift for his/her contribution.
