Nicholas Racioppi, Jr., Chair of the Firm's Real Estate Practice, was quoted extensively in Real Estate NJ's lead article in its May issue. When interviewed about his experience as real estate counsel for the new RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center in Morris Township, NJ, Nick spoke about the challenge of bringing a first-of-its-kind sports facility into a residential neighborhood. Despite early community pushback, he noted, "We converted, really, 99 percent of the residents," and added, "This is one of the first times something like this was built in or next to a residential area."
Red Bull New York president and general manager Marc de Grandpré and Kristin Byrd of Gensler, who served as design director, were also interviewed about the multiyear effort to find and secure the site for the Red Bulls’ training complex, which boasts eight full-size outdoor soccer pitches, and 88,400-square foot main building, and cutting-edge amenities throughout the facilities.
