Nicholas Racioppi, Jr., is a Partner and the Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Group. He has considerable commercial real estate experience, particularly in the acquisition, development, zoning and planning, leasing and sale of commercial and industrial properties.
Nick represents lenders in all types of real estate financings and has extensive experience in complex real estate workouts and foreclosures. He has experience in the formation and structuring of real estate partnerships and joint ventures.
In 2019, Nick was named a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). ACREL’s distinguished lawyers are elected to fellowships based on their outstanding legal ability, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law. He also serves as pro-bono counsel to the Housing Partnership, which provides resources to prospective homebuyers. He advises the organization on corporate governance, guiding them as to their role in administering certain affordable housing programs, and serves as their counsel in connection with no-interest loans they provide to certain clients.
For 10 years, Nick has been involved with the Gala Committee of Daytop of New Jersey, a substance abuse treatment program. Nick is also a member of Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey’s Steps to Independence Celebration Committee and its Real Estate Committee. He is a frequent speaker and author on commercial real estate topics.
Nick is a member of the Legal Action Committee of NAIOP (the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks), the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Also in 2022, Nick was honored on the inaugural ROI-NJ “Influencers in Law” list. The Influencers list recognizes “lawyers in New Jersey that have the most influence on business issues and transactions — and/or running the business of a firm.”
Nick has been included in The Best Lawyers in America®, a peer review of U.S. lawyers, in the fields of Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation since 2007. He was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Real Estate Litigation for 2019 in Newark, an honor given to a single attorney in each practice area in each region, each year.
Thomson Reuters has included him on New Jersey’s “Super Lawyers” list for Real Estate law since 2006. In addition, Nick has been recognized on the “Super Lawyers Top 100” list in 2020 and 2021.
