On Monday, September 14, 2026, Riker Danzig hosted the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (HBA-NJ) for its fall kick-off,with the Firm's managing partner Mike O'Mullan, Firm co-chair A.J. Borrelli, partner Jorge Sanchez, and associates Robert Holup, Daniela Nieves, Brianna Rojas, and Jonathan Barrera in attendance. They welcomed a group of pre-law undergraduates from Ramapo College, who joined as part of the association's mentorship pipeline.
The HBA-NJ supports students at every stage of the path into the legal profession — high school, college, and law school — pairing them with practicing attorneys and creating opportunities to learn how a legal career actually takes shape.
The meeting also marked the association's nominations for its 2026–2027 leadership. Jorge Sanchez was nominated as Vice President and Jonathan Barrera was nominated as President-Elect.
Both will be formally sworn in at the HBA-NJ's 47th Annual Installation and Swearing-In Ceremony on October 21, alongside incoming President Arianna Mouré and the rest of the 2026–2027 officers and board of trustees.
