On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, U.S. Senator Cory Booker and 7 of his incumbent Democratic House members all won handily yesterday. Booker won a third term over Republican Justin Murphy by 62 to 35%. With losses of two Republican House seats, the Democrat margin in the House will increase to 11-1 in January.

In what was originally thought to be the hottest federal race here, incumbent Republican Congressman Tom Kean was defeated by former Navy helicopter pilot Democrat challenger Rebecca Bennett by 57 to 41%.

In the surprise of the night, Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew lost to Democrat Zach Mullock, the Mayor of Cape May by 51 to 48%. With 89% of the votes counted, Van Drew conceded the race to Mullock last night.

Congressional District 12 will see a new member, Democrat and former U.S. Army surgeon Dr. Adam Hamawy, who easily won the seat currently held by six term Democrat Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman.
