4-7 years of real estate experience to support our broad-based practice and wide variety of clients. Significant leasing experience required. Riker Danzig’s real estate law practice spans the full breadth of the industry, from representing landlords, purchasers, and developers in bull markets, to distressed tenants and financial institutions seeking workout advice in bear markets. New Jersey bar required; New York bar a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $152,000 - $177,000.

Insurance Litigation

Staff

Application Specialist & Technology Trainer

We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy Application Specialist & Technology Trainer to help our users adopt technology efficiently and optimize workflows. This hybrid role blends hands-on application support, engaging training, and change management, serving as a key link between IT, end-users, and leadership.

Responsibilities include onboarding, delivering live and recorded training, and promoting adoption of tools such as NetDocuments (or iManage), BigHand, LexisNexis, DocStyles, and Microsoft 365. The role also supports the firm’s Security Awareness Training program through curriculum delivery and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

User Training & Enablement
• Lead onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth introduction to the firm’s core applications and technology practices.
• Design and deliver training programs, both virtual and in-person, tailored to legal professionals and support staff.
• Create weekly/bi-weekly “Tech Tip” content and short tutorial clips to promote ongoing learning and user engagement.
• Maintain and update a training library including manuals, quick-start guides, and training videos.
• Assist with delivery and content support for the firm’s Security Awareness Training curriculum.

Application Support & Integration/Optimization
• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for legal technology tools including NetDocuments (or iManage), BigHand, LexisNexis, and advanced Microsoft Office 365 features.
• Support and troubleshoot document management workflows and document templates, including style sheets and macros.
• Collaborate with the Manager of User Support to identify training opportunities and improve workflows that impact user satisfaction and productivity.
• Assist in testing, deployment, and user adoption of new software tools, upgrades, and integrations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with the Director of Technology and User Support Manager to implement and deploy firmwide productivity applications.
• Participate in pilot groups and feedback loops for evaluating new tools or enhancements to existing platforms.
• Analyze training feedback and system usage metrics to refine the training roadmap and promote high adoption rates.

Qualifications & Skills
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in technology training, IT support, or application specialist role within a professional services or legal environment(Law Firm Preferred).
• Experience with a Document Management System (DMS) is required – NetDocuments strongly preferred, iManage acceptable, eDocs a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Powerpoint), including admin-level experience or advanced user functionality.
• Proficiency in creating training videos using tools such as Camtasia, Snagit, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts in an engaging, user-friendly format that is clear and concise.

Preferred:
• Familiarity with legal tools such as BigHand, DocStyle(Compare, Enterprise. Ribbon), LexisNexis, and template/document automation platforms.
• Experience supporting Security Awareness Training within a corporate or legal setting.
• Experience with enterprises level ticketing systems Connectwise Manage or similar.
• Experience with remote control software such as Connectwise Screenconnect/Automate.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) welcomed and encouraged(training and certification opportunities available).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Communications, or related field.

The anticipated salary range will be $75K - $100K.

Marketing Coordinator

This role supports the Firm’s Marketing and Business Development initiatives, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include:

· Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Manager in supporting the marketing and BD initiatives of the Firm and its various practices and sectors.
· Conduct online research on potential clients, competitors, and industries/markets.
· Prepare competitive intelligence reports on prospective targets.
· Assist in identifying cross-practice connections and opportunities for practices to increase internal and external visibility.
· Assist in identifying appropriate speaking, sponsorship, networking and membership opportunities that create visibility and advance BD goals.
· Draft, edit and submit profiles to Chambers and other rankings and award submissions, working directly with attorneys to compile information on a deadline-driven basis.
· Assist with preparation and monthly review of annual department budget, and coordinate processing of departmental invoices on an ongoing basis.
· Assist with the effective use of the Firm’s Contact Relationship Management System, including attorney onboarding and CRM-related training, development of appropriate contact mailing lists for targeted marketing communications, and coordination of BD-related CRM workspaces.
· Assist with creation/design of client alerts, announcements, invitations, advertisements and other marketing collateral pieces, using e-marketing platform.
· Support the development and editing of various marketing materials and proposals.
· Coordinate client events, including compiling invitee lists, monitoring RSVPs, working with outside vendors, coordinating CLE/CE credit approval with the Firm’s CLE coordinator, helping with check-in, and assisting with follow-up efforts.
· Help manage and update the Firm’s website, social media profiles and blogs.
· Collaborate with other members of the marketing and BD team on special projects and day-to-day tasks as needed.

Qualifications include:
· Strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Strong aptitude for new technologies, with minimal learning curve
· Highly organized and exceptionally attentive to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent proofreading abilities
· Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, staff and attorneys at all levels
· Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while remaining flexible to new situations
· Proactive in assuming responsibility and anticipating needs in the execution of marketing projects
· Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Strong project management skills and sound judgment
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Requirements:
· 1-3 years of experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Law Firm marketing background strongly preferred
· Understanding of law firm CRM and marketing automation tools a plus
