Cristin M. Boyle

Bio

Cristin M. Boyle is an Associate in the Firm’s Governmental Affairs, Litigation, Cannabis Law and Public Utilities Groups.

Cristin’s practice encompasses both litigation and transactional matters for public and private clients.

She has significant experience representing private clients in a wide array of matters ranging in complexity, including commercial disputes, complex construction litigation, statutory challenges, administrative appeals, and land use matters, and has done so in numerous venues including the state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels.

Cristin also regularly counsels private clients regarding regulatory matters, including navigating clients through the application process for state cannabis licensing, with successful results.

On the public side, Cristin has represented and provided counsel to state and local governments and authorities on a broad array of matters that include eminent domain litigation and land use issues, the adoption of regulations, code enforcement, and procurement and contract negotiation.

She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Cannabis Law Special Committee. She has served as an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, teaching trial advocacy skills to students as part of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy program.

Cristin received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2013, where she served as a Board Member and Competitor for the Brendan Moore Trial Advocates, a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing Program, and an associate editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.

She attended New York University, where she studied drama and musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts and graduated, cum laude, with a B.F.A. in Drama and a B.A. in English and American Literature. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Cristin was a professional actor, performing in theaters throughout the U.S.
