Bio
Katherine A. Buchanan is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group.
Katherine focuses her practice on insurance litigation, with significant experience in complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
She has litigated numerous multimillion dollar professional malpractice cases, including architectural and engineering malpractice, and also regularly represents clients in alternative dispute resolution forums.
Katherine received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2011. She graduated from American University in 2008 with a B.A. in Political Science and CLEG (Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government) with a Certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies.
Katherine is an Associate Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. She is a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute.
Prior to joining Riker Danzig, Katherine was an associate at Byrne & O’Neill, LLP, in New York.
