Bio
Linda H. Prentiss, Counsel to the Firm, practices in Riker Danzig’s Financial Institutions Group. She has considerable experience in banking, commercial transactions, and corporate trust.
Linda regularly represents major financial institutions and borrowers in complex commercial lending transactions. In addition, Linda has extensive experience in corporate trust transactions, representing trustees for public and private debt issuances, governmental entities, and the banking industry in both secured and unsecured transactions.
Linda has also developed significant expertise in alcoholic beverage law and regulations, including the purchase and sale of liquor licenses for clients in food-and-beverage and hospitality, golf and social clubs, nonprofit entities, and municipalities. She frequently provides guidance on regulatory issues concerning the distribution and sale of alcoholic beverages, assisting clients in meeting their business goals while ensuring compliance with governing regulations.
In addition to her J.D., Linda earned her M.P.A. from Rutgers University. She also received the Graduate Student Award for Academic Excellence for 1980-81. She is a member of both the New Jersey and California State Bar Associations.
