Riker Danzig has again been selected as a “Powerhouse Law Firm” in New Jersey by Law360 on its 2023 short list of firms that “stood out from the rest.” This marks the 5th year the Firm has been honored, including 2022, 2021, 2017 and 2015. Only four firms were distinguished this year, as announced in its August 18, 2023 article, “NJ's Powerhouses Put Clients and Consistency First This Year.”
Selections for the list were based on 2022 case results across multiple practice areas. The Law360 article states that the firms selected are “focused on the fundamentals of client service while at the same time keeping watch on the constantly changing business environment of New Jersey and looking for ways to grow strategically.”
In the article, Law360 noted that real estate played a major role for each of the recognized firms, contributing not just to the individual firms’ businesses, “but to the profile of the state of New Jersey as well.”
Firm Co-Chairman Brian E. O’Donnell confirmed this in an interview for the article, saying, “We've had steady deal work, and our real estate department has really been popping, maybe more than ever.” The article referenced our work for the New York Red Bulls as well as the Active Acquisitions deal.
Brian also commented on our approach to client service. “I'd also say, to be successful, you have to be proactive," Brian said. "Reach out to your clients, reach out to people, companies that aren't your clients yet and find out what issues concern them. What's keeping them up at night? What are they worried about?"
