Commerce magazine asked Cannabis Practice Leaders at New Jersey’s top law firms to provide insight on the legal landscape facing the growing industry in the Garden State. Cannabis Law Partner Jason Navarino responded by saying that this is the time to break into the growing cannabis industry in New Jersey. Jason said, “Businesses that get in early may be best positioned to secure market share and become leaders in this emerging industry.” He also mentioned that there are “numerous challenges relating to banking, raising capital, taxation, enforcing their rights in court and avoiding federal investigations,” as long as cannabis remains illegal at the federal level.
