Partner Jason D. Navarino recently spoke at ROI-NJ’s Thought Leadership Series on Family Businesses held on June 12, 2019 at The Hanover Manor in East Hanover. The July 1 issue of ROI-NJ featured an article recapping the discussion including insight provided by Jason regarding family business succession as well as the importance of having a plan in place for the future. “Clients are always focusing on bringing in profit – and that’s got to be their main focus – but, that said, they have to think about what could happen and be prepared for what may come in the next day, be it a death or a departure or an exciting growth opportunity.” Jason also mentioned how “deals can go sideways very quickly if you’re not prepared to engage in them.”
