Environmental Partner Jaan M. Haus has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association. The LSRPA is recognized as the primary industry advocacy group for site remediation practitioners in New Jersey. Members contribute to the legislative and regulatory stakeholder processes, and are involved in a variety of areas including commenting on draft rules developed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, expanding the breadth of guidance documents prepared in conjunction with the NJDEP, and continuing to advance the concept of the use of professional judgment by practitioners.
Jaan is also the Chair of the Legal and Legislative Committee for the LSRPA, as well as a Steering Committee member.
In his legal practice, Jaan advises clients from a wide range of industries, including real estate developers, real estate investors, lenders, energy companies, commercial and industrial manufacturers, specialty chemical companies, aerospace companies, pharmaceutical companies, food distributors, and small commercial businesses.
