Jason Navarino, a partner in Riker Danzig's Corporate and Tax Groups, has been named inaugural Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s new Business Taxation Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Law Section. The purpose of the Business Taxation Committee is to provide support to practitioners with respect to federal, state, and local tax issues frequently arising in the context of business transactions; work with the legislative chairperson to consider and recommend legislation, regulations, and other administrative guidance to aid practitioners with respect to these issues; and function as a liaison between the Business Law Section and the Taxation Law Section.
Jason is currently Chair of the Taxation Law Section’s International Tax Committee. He previously served as Chair of the Taxation Law Section from 2019-2020.
