Riker Danzig is proud to share that our partners Bethany A. Abele and Tracey K. Wishert have been selected as “Women Attorneys of the Year” by the New Jersey Law Journal for 2024! Bethany is a partner in our Commercial Litigation, Financial Services and Title Insurance practices, while Tracey is a partner in the Firm’s Insurance & Reinsurance and Commercial Litigation practices. Both exemplify dedication, hard work and a meaningful impact, with this award highlighting their successful legal practices, strong commitment to their clients, and individual involvement and leadership in the Firm and organizations important to them.
Only 15 attorneys were named for 2024, and we are thrilled that Bethany and Tracey are counted among them!
Bethany focuses her practice on banking and title insurance litigation, representing banks and title insurance companies and their insureds in a wide variety of actions, including coverage investigations, and disputes between the insurance company and insured. She is co-host of the Firm’s well-regarded “Title Nerds” podcast covering issues impacting those in the title insurance arena. Bethany is President of the Morris County Bar Association and a past President of the Morris County Bar Foundation. She serves on the Board of Cornerstone Family Programs & Morristown Neighborhood House. Bethany also leads the Firm’s annual Toy Drive, providing gifts for donation to local charities.
Tracey focuses her practice on insurance coverage and insurance defense matters. While Tracey has broad experience in all aspects of coverage and indemnity issues, she has seen significant success in recent years in cases involving unusual claims and complex insurance allocation, as well as additional insured coverage, and bad faith. Tracey is a regular speaker on issues that confront insurers, including for the NJSBA and for various clients’ national coverage counsel summits, as well as for attorney training on litigation procedures and strategies. She serves on the Firm’s Management and Practice Development Committees.
