Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring attorney Rachel G. Atkin spoke at the Tenth Annual "IWIRC at the Shore" conference held in Atlantic City March 3-4, 2022. Rachel presented at the 9:00 AM panel on March 4 titled, “Insurance Protection and Claims in Bankruptcy.” Rachel, along with a panel of other distinguished speakers, discussed the importance for bankruptcy practitioners to understand various types of insurance policies, the impact of bankruptcy filings, applicable exclusions, subrogation issues, and how insurance claims are treated in a bankruptcy case since often bankruptcy and insurance law can intersect and at times conflict.
