Riker Danzig honored by CIANJ with “Companies That Care” Award
March 24, 2022
The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey hosted the 2022 Companies That Care Awards Reception on March 23, 2022, paying tribute to the kindness and generosity of the business community.
Riker Danzig was honored to again receive an award at the annual event, our fifth year to be so recognized. Partner Bethany Abele and Director of Library and Research Services Anne Shulman accepted the award, which was given in the “Caring for Children” category, recognizing our annual Toy Drive to which our employees donate hundreds of toys and gifts. Even with employees working largely remotely during the pandemic, the response to the Toy Drive was as robust as ever, with an exceptional collection of toys donated, as well as cash donations. Many employees selected toys on the wish lists provided by Jersey Battered Women’s Service and the Morristown Neighborhood House. The result was another enormous outpouring of holiday cheer for our community children.
“Giving back and helping those in need is a part of the culture for all of the companies and organizations we are honoring,” said Anthony Russo, President of CIANJ. “We are glad that we can showcase all of their good works and honor them for their commitment to service even through the last two years while dealing with the global pandemic,” Russo added.
The award honorees and the stories behind all the awards are featured in a special section of the March issue of COMMERCE Magazine.
