Riker Danzig Partner Stuart M. Lederman has been named by NJBIZ a 2026 “Leaders in Law” Award Honoree. This annual program honors legal professionals, including both in-house attorneys and attorneys in private practice, whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is outstanding. The honorees were selected by a panel of independent judges with experience in the justice system following a rigorous nomination process.
Stuart's practice encompasses a broad swath of the Firm's litigation and governmental affairs departments. He represents clients in construction, real estate, eminent domain, and civil litigation matters. He also has a significant professional liability practice, defending architects and engineers and advising lawyers on ethics matters. In addition, Stuart serves on the Firm's Management and Pro Bono Committees, and is the Ethics Chair of the Firm.
Outside the Firm, Stuart is a Visiting Associate for the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, is Secretary of the Board of Trustees of The Pingry School, and has held leadership positions with the NJ State Bar Association, the NJ State Bar Foundation, and the Statewide Panel for the NJ Supreme Court Committee on Character, among others.
He will be honored at a celebration in March at The Marigold in Somerset with the other impressive honorees. For the full NJBIZ story and list, go to Leaders in Law.
