Riker Danzig is pleased and privileged to announce that The Honorable Travis Francis has joined the Firm after serving for 25 years as a Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, most recently as Assignment Judge of Middlesex County.
Judge Francis served as a Superior Court Judge in Middlesex County from 1992 to 2017. He was appointed Assignment Judge in 2007, and presided over several notable and high profile cases in the course of his career on the bench. He also served on numerous Supreme Court committees, and was recognized in 2009 by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation with its Outstanding Volunteer Service Award.
He is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Law, where he teaches Civil Liberties and Personal Injury Litigation Skills.
Managing Partner Glenn Clark said, "Judge Francis is a valuable addition to our Mediation/Arbitration practice, joining Justice Pollock, Judge Ashrafi, and Judge Rothschild in that group. His experience on the bench will be of great benefit to clients as both a mediator and a discovery master."
