White Collar Criminal Group Attorney Named “New Leader of the Bar”

October 31, 2016

Riker Danzig is proud to announce that Counsel Zahid Quraishi has been named a “New Leader of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal.  Following a rigorous evaluation process, the Law Journal selects lawyers who are “emblematic of a new wave of leadership in the New Jersey legal profession.”  They look for standout lawyers who are developing strong practices, have demonstrated leadership qualities, shown expertise in their area, and are committed to professional volunteer work.

In addition to Zahid’s exceptional work in our White Collar Criminal Defense and Investigations Practice, for which he focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal corporate investigations, and complex civil litigation, he has an impressive work history of trial and investigatory work in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, trying numerous federal criminal cases involving public corruption, financial fraud, perjury, firearms and narcotics offenses within the Special Prosecutions Division and Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force and Government Fraud Units of the Criminal Division. He also served as a military prosecutor and achieved the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  In the Army, Zahid was assigned to the First Infantry Division stationed in Germany and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004 and 2006 before he was honorably discharged.
