The article discusses the "record-breaking" run on property tax appeals in New Jersey as properties have lost value. John said that he believes this trend in filing appeals will continue. "I think we will see an increase next year and, perhaps, for the next three to five years," he commented. In comparing the current climate with past economic plunges, John said he suspects the uptick in appeals "will be similar if not more significant than in the past."
