Riker Danzig is pleased to announce that we are once again the title sponsor of the Riker Danzig Newport 10,000 race. The event will take place on Saturday, May 9 at 8:30 a.m in Newport on the Jersey City Hudson River waterfront.
For the third year, the Riker Danzig Newport 10K is the USATF-NJ Men's Open 10K Championship Race. The Riker Danzig Newport 10K is becoming one of the elite races of the Northeast, providing a unique urban setting for both recreational and elite professional runners. The course interweaves along the Hudson County Waterfront Walkway with spectacular views of the New York skyline, attracting both American and International runners. Runners will receive a cash prize pool totaling $10,000. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jersey City Medical Center.
Riker Danzig takes pride in sponsoring the Riker Danzig Newport 10K and contributing to the success of the Jersey City Medical Center. This center is the area's newest regional referral teaching hospital, providing the highest level of care for women and infants, and trauma and heart patients.
