Riker Danzig is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 4–7 years of real estate law experience to support our broad-based Real Estate practice and diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have significant leasing experience and the ability to handle a wide range of sophisticated real estate matters.

Riker Danzig’s Real Estate practice spans the full breadth of the industry—from representing landlords, purchasers, and developers in strong market conditions to advising distressed tenants and financial institutions on workouts and restructuring matters in challenging markets.

Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, professional Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment. • Welcome guests and clients in person and by phone; answer or direct inquiries professionally.

Family Law Paralegal

Riker Danzig is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our Family Law team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, and domestic violence cases. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
-Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and correspondence
-Assist with case management, including calendaring deadlines, maintaining case files, and tracking court dates
-Conduct legal research; gather, analyze, and summarize information for attorney review
-Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists; assist attorneys during hearings, trials, and mediations
-Communicate professionally and timely with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
-Manage document production and organize financial records, medical records, and other evidence related to family law matters
-Assist in the preparation of child support and spousal support calculations
-Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a family law paralegal
-Paralegal certificate or degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
-Thorough knowledge of family law procedures, court rules, and filing requirements
-Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, ProLaw, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and e-filing systems
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Compassionate, professional demeanor when working with clients in difficult or emotional circumstances

Billing Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our billing team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the firm’s billing function, ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, and collaborating closely with attorneys, partners, and legal staff.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2+ years of law firm billing experience
- Previous experience of using SurePoint is preferred
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is helpful
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- College degree required

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle billing for assigned Partner(s)
- Coordinate new matter intake
- Generate and distribute prebills
- Finalize and send invoices to clients
- Submit e-bills and manage electronic billing platforms
- Handle appeals and billing rejections as needed
- Monitor and follow up on invoices with open balances
- Communicate and coordinate with attorneys, partners, and legal support staff
- Perform other administrative or billing-related tasks as assigned
- Hybrid work schedule may be considered

Additional Information:

- Regular work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime based on business needs
