Bio

Robert Holup is an Associate in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates and Litigation Groups. He earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2016, where he received the President’s Volunteer Service Award. He graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2012 with a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. in Finance.

Following law school, Robert served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Walter Koprowski, Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division. He later joined the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office as a Deputy Attorney General, where he led hundreds of consumer fraud and antitrust investigations on behalf of the Division of Consumer Affairs. Drawing from this experience, he was a contributing author of Consumer Protection: Understanding Enforcement Actions Brought by State Attorneys General, a publication of the American Bar Association that serves as a guide to investigations, litigation, and settlements involving state attorneys general.

Robert is actively involved in professional and community service. He serves on the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and has received the Division’s Service to the Community Award in both 2021 and 2023 for his dedication to community-focused initiatives. He also contributes to the New Jersey State Bar Association through his work on the Pro Bono and Diversity Committees.

In addition, Robert is a member of the Generation Now Committee for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, an organization committed to providing access to justice for individuals facing poverty. He was also selected as a Fellow for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2023–2024 Leadership Academy, a program that cultivates future leaders within the legal profession.
