Riker Danzig LLP warmly welcomes six fall associates to the Firm: Meghna Gohil, Carla Ko, Emma Lynch, Maya Pacheco-Smith, Hank J. Scheffler, and Noah Z. Wilk.

The six new attorneys will be providing additional depth to some of the Firm’s core practices, including its Bankruptcy, Commercial Litigation, Insurance, Products Liability, Environmental and Estate Planning practices.

“A clear sign that a firm is doing something right is when its summer associates want to come back, and four of this year’s class are returning summer associates," said Michael P. O’Mullan, Managing Partner. “They're joining alongside two talented law clerks, all bringing strong minds and good instincts. We look forward to helping them develop their skills and grow into the lawyers our clients will rely on.”

The new associates bring a broad range of academic backgrounds and perspectives to the Firm, having earned their law degrees at well-regarded law schools: Fordham University School of Law, Rutgers Law School, Seton Hall University School of Law, the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, and Wake Forest University School of Law.

Meghna Gohil is an Associate in the Firm’s Estate Planning & Administration and Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring groups. She earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2026, where she was a staff member of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy. Gohil received her B.S. in Mathematics, summa cum laude, from The College of New Jersey in 2023.

Meghna started her career at Riker Danzig as a 2025 Summer Associate.

Carla Ko is an Associate in the Firm's Commercial Litigation Group. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2026 and her B.S. in Business Administration from Montclair State University, summa cum laude, in 2022.

Carla started her career at Riker Danzig as a 2025 Summer Associate.

Emma Lynch is an Associate in the Firm's Products Liability, Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Group. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2025, During law school, Emma served as a Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media, and Entertainment Law Journal. She received her B.S. in Psychology, magna cum laude, from Villanova University in 2022.

Prior to joining Riker Danzig, Emma served as a law clerk to The Hon. Stuart A. Minkowitz of the New Jersey Superior Court.

Emma is licensed to practice in New Jersey.

Maya Pacheco-Smith is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group. Maya received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2026, where she served as the Associate Editor of the Rutgers Race and Law Review. She received her B.A. in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Hampton University in 2021.

Maya was a Summer Associate at Riker Danzig in 2025.

Hank J. Scheffler is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group. Hank received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2025, where he served as Senior Editor of The Seton Hall Law Review. He received his B.A. in Governmental Law and Asian Studies, with a minor in Economics, from Lafayette College in 2022.

Before joining Riker Danzig, Hank served as a law clerk to The Hon. Lisa Perez Friscia of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

Hank is licensed to practice in New Jersey.

Noah Z. Wilk is an Associate in Riker Danzig’s Environmental Law Group. Noah received his J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2026. He received his B.A., cum laude, in Government and Law and Philosophy, with a minor in Asian Studies, from Lafayette College in 2023.

Noah started his career at Riker Danzig as a Summer Associate in 2025.
