Bio
Rebecca A. Borgese is a Partner in the Firm’s Securities Litigation, Arbitration, Regulation, and Investigations and Commercial Litigation Groups.
Her practice focuses on arbitration, litigation, mediation, and regulatory compliance arising out of the financial services industry. She represents broker-dealers, investment advisors, and registered representatives in the defense of investment related sales practice and employment disputes involving federal and state securities laws and regulations.
Rebecca also regularly counsels clients on the resolution of pre-litigation disputes and internal investigations. In addition, Rebecca represents financial institutions in connection with examinations, subpoenas and investigations by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Prior to joining Riker Danzig, Rebecca worked in the Securities Practice Group for a large New York law firm and as Assistant General Counsel for UBS Financial Services Inc.
She received her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2011. Rebecca graduated from New York University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics.
