Bio

Robert J. Schoenberg is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Group.

He has represented numerous companies in patent, copyright, and trademark infringement matters, as well as unfair competition and false advertising disputes. Bob is successful in obtaining trademark registrations for his clients. He has handled more than 20 patent infringement matters, including a major victory for an online retailer in which his client was the only one of four defendants that the jury agreed did not infringe the patent.

Bob has particular expertise in matters involving the computer industry, assisting a wide range of clients with protecting valuable contract and property rights arising from the development, licensing, and distribution of computer hardware and software. His range of clients includes leading software companies, pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, and clients in the publishing and entertainment industry.
