Riker Danzig announced that it has moved to its new headquarters at 7 Giralda Farms in Madison, New Jersey, a premier professional campus on the former Geraldine R. Dodge Estate. The Firm has redesigned its new office space to incorporate a dynamic, open office layout with hoteling options, collaborative workspaces, and state-of-the-art technology. The Firm’s new Madison office represents a significant upgrade from its long-time headquarters in Morristown at Headquarters Plaza, complementing its existing offices in Trenton and Midtown Manhattan.
Executive Committee member Nicholas Racioppi, Jr., head of Riker Danzig’s Real Estate Practice, led the lease negotiations for the Firm, along with partner Joshua M. Greenfield. “It is deeply satisfying to see our strategic planning in the lease negotiation process and space retrofitting culminate in such a thoughtfully designed office environment. We feel that we really hit a homerun with our new headquarters. It provides an enhanced experience for all of our stakeholders – staff, attorneys and clients alike – and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.”

Co-Chair Anthony J. Borrelli noted that the Firm spent many months designing and reconstructing the new space with an emphasis on its team-based approach and collegial culture. “At Riker Danzig, we thrive on teamwork, and so we wanted to make the most of the collaborative work areas, multi-purpose knowledge center and large employee cafeteria lounge. Our foremost goal throughout has been to create an office environment that truly reflects the way our people work together and connect with each other. Since moving to our new space, we have experienced a very positive energy across all of our departments as we are now on one floor. It has been a great part of each day to walk the floor and interact with people who had not been part of our regular day-to-day because of the past separation across multiple floors.”
Co-Chair Kelly S. Crawford pointed to the storied history of the 143-year-old firm, which started in Newark, and which was given careful consideration in the design of the Giralda Farms offices. “We created a descriptive, illustrated timeline of Riker for our reception area, going back to our founding in 1882 and detailing many of our notable leaders through the decades, including Supreme Court Justices, Federal Judges, State and U.S. Attorneys General, Bar presidents and much more. Our history is quite impressive, and we wanted to prominently feature it throughout the new office. We also named our main conference rooms after several of our Riker luminaries, with their photos etched in signs and accompanied by brief bios – another nod to those who made us who we are today.”
Seven Giralda Farms is a striking, park-like, 20-acre property with three floors of Class A office space, featuring a two-story atrium entrance with granite and wood accents. Riker Danzig’s law offices take up one-half of the massive second floor, with its own large employee cafeteria/lounge, featuring a custom bar, and reconfigurable knowledge center. The building offers a host of additional efficiencies and amenities, including a café, underground parking, outdoor patio with seating, expansive fitness center, walking paths, upscale lounge/game room and conference space.
