Riker Danzig is pleased to represent the New York Red Bulls organization in its development of a new corporate headquarters and state-of-the-art training facilities in Morris Township. Partner Nicholas Racioppi, Jr., head of Riker Danzig's Real Estate Practice, is leading the legal team for the Red Bulls.
The complex, to be located over 80 acres on the former Honeywell site off Columbia Road, will be home to the New York Red Bulls soccer team and reserve squad, as well as the club's soccer academy and youth training programs.
Nick said, "We are excited to be partnering with the Red Bulls to develop this world-class facility right in our backyard." Construction is expected to begin in 2022, with a completion date in 2024 (subject to approvals being obtained).
Riker Danzig has enjoyed a long relationship with the Red Bulls, previously sponsoring soccer clinics in Morristown for disadvantaged youth, led by the Red Bulls coaching staff and players. Former star Red Bulls player and current Senior Manager of Alumni and Player Relations Connor Lade, a Morristown High School graduate, was a favorite coach at the Riker Danzig/Red Bulls clinics. Red Bull Arena in Harrison is also a favorite client entertainment destination for Riker Danzig attorneys.
"There are many reasons to respect and admire the Red Bulls organization," said Nick. "They bring a strong commitment to their communities, getting involved in local initiatives wherever they are. We could not be more delighted to be working with them on this impressive project, and welcoming them to the neighborhood!"
Working with Nick on the Riker team is James M. Maggio, Jr., Linda M. Herlihy, Marilynn R. Greenberg, James L. Lott, Jr., Jason D. Navarino, and Hannah J. Greendyk.
