Riker Danzig Lawyers Honored for Pro Bono Work

Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP is pleased to announce that counsel Anne Mohan and associate Peter Perkowski have been honored by Partners for Women and Justice for their pro bono work with the organization. Partners for Women and Justice is dedicated to effecting positive change in the lives of low-income and abused women. The organization supports the empowerment of women by promoting equal access to justice in family law and related matters. The women served by Partners often are employed and above the official poverty line, but do not have the money for protracted court battles. Volunteer lawyers provide free legal clinics as well as pro bono representation in family law and related matters.

Anne M. Mohan is counsel in Riker Danzig's insurance group. She represents Fortune 100 insurers and others in complex disputes nationwide involving primary, umbrella and excess policies. She has tried many cases on behalf of insurers and has been involved in numerous mediations and arbitrations both before and during litigation. Ms. Mohan earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1984 and her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton in 1981.

Peter M. Perkowski, Jr. is an associate in Riker Danzig's litigation group with particular experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. He is a former Judicial Law Clerk to Hon. David S. Cramp, Presiding Judge of the Civil Division of Morris County, New Jersey. He earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2003 and his undergraduate degree from Montclair State University in 2000.
