Riker Danzig Honored by CIANJ with “Companies That Care” Award for 2024

The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey hosted the 2024 Companies That Care Awards Reception on May 2, 2024, paying tribute to the kindness and generosity of the business community.

Riker Danzig was honored to again receive an award at the annual event, our sixth year to be so recognized.  Counsel Sarah Heba-Escobar accepted the award on behalf of the Firm, which was given in the “Feeding the Hungry” category.  The award recognized our special Ramadan fundraiser in 2023, which was spearheaded by Sarah, to provide meals for community members in need.  We partnered with the New Jersey Muslim Lawyer’s Association and Nourish.NJ, which provides year-round food, housing, work readiness, medical, social and educational services.  Riker Danzig employees made monetary donations to Nourish.NJ’s healthy food distribution program, which were matched by the Firm. In addition, several Riker employees and family members volunteered at Nourish.NJ’s Free Farmers Market on April 21, 2023, serving nearly 200 adults and children. The 2023 event was such a success, Riker Danzig held the fundraiser and volunteer opportunity again this year.
