Janett P. Smyth

Janett P. Smyth is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group.  Janett has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, insurance defense, financial services, and product liability matters.

Janett received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2001, where she was the recipient of the Dean’s Achievement Scholarship as well as an Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from New York University in 1997.

Janett was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District VIII Ethics Committee for the 2023 – 2027 term. She is Press Secretary for the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and a Trustee of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation.
