Partner Scott A. Ohnegian, head of Riker Danzig’s Employment Practice, and associate Desiree McDonald were featured speakers at the “HR Leaders Compliance Summit,” presented virtually by client Acrisure on March 7 – 9, 2023. Scott and Desiree spoke on “Tri-State Employer Compliance Considerations for 2023,” addressing the slew of new employment laws and how they will affect all employers with operations in New York, New Jersey and/or Connecticut. They provided guidance on sick leave, worker classification, employee leave, workers’ compensation, safety regulation enforcement, wages, unemployment insurance, and more.
